Bill: Hi, do you like Pocky?
Ted: Huh? What’s that?
Bill: You know, that long, thin biscuit snack covered in chocolate.
Ted: You mean the chocolate sticks from Japan?
Bill: Yeah, those. Did you know today is Pocky Day?
Ted: What? There is a Pocky Day?
Bill: Yup, and it’s today. Do you know why?
Ted: Because they were invented today?
Bill: Nope. It’s because if you write out today’s date numerically, it is four ones in a row, like four sticks of Pocky!
Ted: Hah! I get it. So what do we do? Do we go out and buy some Pocky? I don’t even know where to buy Pocky. Is there a specialty Japanese store in town?
Bill: No worries, I bought some for everyone! Here! Dig in!
Ted: Thanks! *munch, munch, munch* I love Pocky Day!
Andy: Happy Pocky Day everyone! Go buy some Pocky or Pretz and share some with your friends!
