I experienced my first snow in Ogaki this winter! It was so beautiful. The snow came down in big chunks, the air positively filled with snowflakes! I was very pleasantly surprised to open my door to such a sight this past Monday.

I love snow. Watching it fall, listening to it crunch under my feet, feeling the cold powder in my fingers…. It’s all wonderful. Unfortunately, Monday’s snow didn’t stick. It just wasn’t cold enough for that. I’m a little disappointed by that, but simply watching it fall is a pleasure all its own, so I’m still ultimately happy with the weather that day. Snowy days are always good days, in my book.
