The area around Furano and Asahikawa has many mountains. We went to that area so that we could see the mountains and go hiking there. However, due to the typhoon that was passing by Hokkaido while I was there, it was very cloudy and I wasn’t really even able to see the mountains that I went there to see. Even though I couldn’t see the mountains as clearly as I wanted to it was a beatiful area and I’m glad that I went.
