Out of all the holidays, Halloween is my favorite. There’s something so exciting about this spooky, silly, and fun time of year. The air is cool, the leaves are crunchy, and everywhere you look there are pumpkins, costumes, and decorations.
One of the best parts of Halloween is dressing up. You can be anything you want for one night—a superhero, a ghost, a princess, or even something funny like a giant hot dog! I love the creativity of costumes. Some are scary, some are cute, and some are just plain silly.
Then there’s trick-or-treating. Walking from house to house with a bag in hand feels like an adventure. Each door is a mystery—will you get chocolate, candy corn, or maybe even a giant candy bar? By the end of the night, your bag is full of sweet treasures.
Halloween decorations make everything even better. Spooky cobwebs, glowing jack-o’-lanterns, and silly skeletons turn neighborhoods into playful haunted worlds. Even if something looks a little scary, it’s all in good fun.
And of course, there are Halloween parties with games, music, and snacks shaped like bats or ghosts. Everyone is laughing and enjoying the spirit of the season.
For me, Halloween is the perfect mix of fun, creativity, and just the right amount of spookiness. It only comes once a year, but it always fills me with joy. That’s why Halloween will always be my favorite time of year.

Kia ora and hello everyone!
When my older brother visited, I was lucky enough to take a day-trip down to Hiroshima.
This was my first time ever visiting this city and it was amazing. The weather was perfect, the people were so friendly, and the city was beautiful.
We enjoyed just sitting around and soaking up the sunshine, and had a peaceful walk through all of the stores. I will definitely be back.
Have you ever been to Hiroshima?

Mashed potatoes are one of my favorite foods in the whole world. They are soft, creamy, and warm—like a big hug on a plate. Some people like them smooth, some like them a little lumpy, but I think mine are the best.
Why? Because I make them with love! I mash the potatoes until they’re just right, then add butter, milk, and a little salt. Sometimes I even mix in cheese or garlic for extra flavor. Every spoonful is delicious.
Mashed potatoes go with everything—gravy, chicken, vegetables, or just on their own. Honestly, I could eat a whole bowl by myself!
Whenever friends or family try my mashed potatoes, they smile and ask for more. That’s how I know they really are the best.
Simple, tasty, and made with care—that’s why mashed potatoes will always be my number one comfort food.

Kia ora and hello everyone!
I visited Kyoto with my older brother, and despite it raining heavily the whole time, it was an amazing trip!
We spent time see Kyomizu-dera, Fushimi-Inari, Arashiyama, and Kinkakuji. I think the rain added to the beautiful, peaceful, Kyoto ambience.
The bamboo in Arashiyama looked especially pretty in all of the rain.
Have you ever been to Kyoto?
