Ding ding! Do you hear that music? It’s the sound of summer—the ice cream truck is coming!

In many American neighborhoods, the ice cream truck drives around during summer, playing cheerful music to let everyone know it’s near. Kids rush outside with their dollars, lining up to pick their favorite frozen treats.

There are so many choices! You might get a rocket pop with red, white, and blue stripes, a chocolate-dipped cone, or a rainbow sherbet push-pop. Some even look like cartoon characters with bubble gum eyes!

It’s not just about the ice cream—it’s the excitement. You hear the music, you run to ask your parents, and you hope the truck doesn’t pass your street too quickly. When you finally get your treat, it feels like magic in your hands.

Whether you’re licking a cone before it melts or trading bites with your best friend, the ice cream truck is pure summer joy. So next time you hear that song, grab your shoes and run!

ベトナムにはその地方の特徴ある食べ物もあるけれど、どこでも食べられるのが「フォー」。でも、店によって少しずつスープの味や具材も違うから何度でも食べてしまう。牛肉がメインのフォーが「フォーボー」。

One of my favourite ways to keep cool is drinking a fun drink! I love to drink lemonade, matcha lattes or juice! It’s the perfect way to cool down on a hot summer’s day!

来週８月４日（月）～８月１６日（土）の２週間、ハローズの通常授業はお休みです。

４日（月）～８日（金）の間は大垣本部-スイトテラス校の自習室が開放されていますので、追試や提出物がある生徒さんにはぜひ涼しいスペースで有意義に過ごしてもらえたらと思っています(^^)/

7月２６日は夏風呂の日、だそうです。

夏季にぬるめのお浸かることで、副交感神経の働きが促され心身のリラックス効果があり

眠りやすくなるとか。

出来れば青い色のタイル、湯船に浸かり涼しい気持ちに癒されながら疲れを取りたいものですが

家庭では中々むずかしいですね。それでも、夏の入浴剤に涼しげな色のものがあるのでこの時期だけ

使ってみるのもいいですね！海の中みたいです。

お風呂上りに大好きな飲み物など用意してちょうど冷え冷えになったころにそれを飲みながら

好きな映画でも観る

今日は、幽霊の日でもあるのです

鶴屋南北という人の東海道四谷怪談が初演されたことによります

お岩の復習話というと知っている人もいますよね

たまには怖い映画もいいですね

Ever wonder what summer camp in America is like? It’s like a giant playground mixed with a sleepover and a nature adventure—all rolled into one!

Most camps happen in the great outdoors. You might stay in a cabin with bunk beds and kids your age. You get to do tons of activities like archery, swimming, arts and crafts, canoeing, and even silly talent shows. Some camps have special theme days—like Pajama Day or Superhero Day—where everyone dresses up and gets silly!

One of the best parts of camp is making new friends. You spend your days playing games, eating meals together in a big dining hall, and laughing around a campfire at night. Campfires are a big deal! You might roast marshmallows, sing songs, or tell spooky (but not too spooky!) stories.

At night, you crawl into your sleeping bag, listen to crickets, and dream about tomorrow’s adventures. Some kids go to sleepaway camp, while others go to day camp and go home in the evening.

Either way, summer camp is a magical place where you can try new things, learn cool skills, and have tons of fun. So pack your bug spray and get ready for campfire fun!

ベトナムのある田舎町に行った時のこと。牛も自分で道路を渡っているし、ヤギも自分たちで散歩していた。よく見ると後ろにおばちゃんがいて、大きな声でヤギに叫んでいた。でも、そのあたりはヤギをよく食べると聞きました。同じアジアの国でも文化は違いますね。

Hey y’all!

I’m always off eating so unusual things! Number one, I drank a miso coke… It was so gross and just a poor decision on my end. 10/10 DON’T recommend. I can’t even describe the taste it was so bad. The other two dishes were made from jalapeños I ordered from Okinawa. In the bowl we have a very spicy taco bowl and in the pan are jalapeño poppers. Also super spicy. These jalapeños really surprised me! I wasn’t expecting them to light my tongue on fire. 10/10 will buy again.

With summer heating up, I find myself doing more indoor exercise activities to try and stay cool!

Lately, I’ve been super into yoga! This is a fun and relaxing way to stretch and keep yourself fit, and being able to do it in the air-conditioned room is an added bonus!

My cat loves it too!

フランケンシュタイン＝ハロウィンのモンスターのイメージが強いと思いますが、韓国、日本、イギリスのナショナルシアターの演劇作品もとても素晴らしいです！演出や解釈の違いがそれぞれあり、何度も楽しめるのがおすすめポイントです！

そして今年１１月にはネットフリックスでギレルモ・デル・トロ脚本＆監督の映画『FRANKENSTEIN（原題）』が配信開始予定だそうです！

少し先ですが、Mary Shelley著の原作を読みながら待ってみてはいかがでしょうか(^^)/
