Kia Ora and hello everyone!

I’ve been having a blast exploring all over Japan since arriving here, and my latest trip was to Kyoto with my friend!

I’d never worn Yukata before, so my friend suggested we rent one! I was super nervous to go through the process of getting fitted, but the staff were very knowledgable and kind! It was nice being able to pick the fabrics and colours I wanted too!

We went to Kiyomizu-dera and it was such beautiful weather! The view of Kyoto was amazing and after that we went for a walk around the local shops.

I bought Yatsuhashi which was amazing, and ate matcha ice cream too.

I hope to be able to go back to Kyoto soon – I’d love to see the Autumn colours – I hear they’re amazing to see!
