Hey y’all!

In Sendai, I saw the 8th largest statue in the world! The Sendai Tendou Byakue Daikannon portrays bodhisattva Byakue Kannon or White-robed Kannon bearing the cintamani gem in her hand. Sitting at 100 meters tall, I heard that locals consider her to be an eye sore, and are not happy that she’s there.
