Hey y’all! 

I’ve always been in to baking and therefore, always wanted a stand mixer. The king of all stand mixers is by far the Kitchen Aid. They come in all shapes and sizes, but they will run you a pretty penny. For my 30th, I finally broke down and got one. Had to immediately make Texas-shaped, carrot cake muffins for the vibes.

With Summer coming fast and the weather heating up, I find myself thinking back to winter and all the snow we got!

There were so many beautiful snow falls and I miss hearing the crunch as I walked through it!

5月31日の誕生花は、藤、シラー、ルピナス、カラーです。

中でもカラーはよく見るお花で、ブライダルの花としても人気があるとか。

花言葉は、乙女のしなやかさ、清浄。

ギリシャ神話の女神ヘラに由来し、

結婚や母性をつかさどるヘラが子供に母乳を与えていた時に零れ落ちた場所から

カラーが咲いたという伝説があります。

カラーの白さは確かにやわらかな白色ですね。

みんなの好きな花は何ですか。

前回はナシゴレン。今回はミーゴレン。「ゴレン」はたしか「炒める」だったかな。「ミー」は「麺」なので「ナシ」＝「ごはん」のかわりに麺が炒めてある。焼きそばですね。バナナの皮が敷いてあって、そんなに高くないものがちょっと高級感があっていいですね。味もGoodです！

This month has been filled with some delicious food! My fave has to be the tan that I got to eat for my birthday dinner. UGH! So good! I’m looking forward to all of the great summer eats coming my way in summer!
