The 90’s was an interesting time when it came to fashion especially for kids… Lots of patterns and textures. My cowgirl outfit is definitely a banger but that green and pink bow situation… OUCH. That’s a rough one for sure. How were your baby clothes? Do you think they were cute or just a total miss?

Kia ora and hello everyone!

Lake Taupo is the largest lake in New Zealand and is actually a volcano that collapsed and filled with water but is still active to this day! It’s also very popular in summer when people visit to hang out around the lake.

In wintertime, people visit to go skiing around the area so Taupo is one of the most popular tourist spots in New Zealand!

ハローズの今年度の通常授業は、今週を含めて残り２回となりました。毎年あっという間に感じます。中学３年生の子たちは今週が公立高校入試日です。万全の体調でベストを尽くせるよう祈っています！

今日はビスケットの日

みんなはビスケットは好きですか。

糖分や油分が多めのもの、手作り風のものをクッキーと呼んでいますが、クッキーもビスケットの一種。

他にもクラッカーや乾パン、プレッツェル、パイなどもビスケットの一種だそうです。

ビスケットとは小麦粉、糖類、植物油脂、食塩を主原料としたオーブンで焼いたもののこと。

アメリカでは日本で食べられているようなものはすべてクッキーと呼ばれ、イギリスでは日本のビスケットや

クッキーのような焼き菓子はビスケットと呼ばれています。

私の好きなものは・・・

ステラおばさんのクッキー、ロータスのビスコフカラメルビスケット、ミレービスケット、たべっこ動物チョコビスケット、

オレオバニラクリーム　ほかにもまだまだ種類がたくさんありますね！

みんなのお気に入りは何かな？？
