Last week, was my birthday !! My birthday is September 17th, so it was on Thursday. I turned 26 years old!
Since my birthday is one month before Halloween, decorations and other goods show up in stores. This always gets me excited for Halloween because it’s my favorite holiday.
Sam was kind enough to throw me a birthday party! It was so much fun because this year because Sam had a great idea of making it a costume party too! It’s so much fun to dress up! It’s also a lot of fun to see other people get creative with costume ideas!
I had such a wonderful birthday! Thank you everyone who wished me a happy birthday!

Hey y’all!
After talking with Ryan about things to do in Gifu Prefecture, he recommended a trip to Gifu Machu Picchu, or Tengu no Chabatake. The real Machu Picchu is in Peru, so I thought it was really interesting that Gifu seemed to have something that resembled the ancient Incan ruins. Unlike the one in Peru, Gifu’s Machu Picchu is made up of rows and rows of tea fields. Unfortunately though, the area surrounding it was closed due to COVID… Only those that lived within the area were permitted to enter. With that said, the drive there was absolutely breath taking, so I highly recommend y’all taking the trip out there!
See y’all in class!

Hello everyone! With the weather getting cooler and cooler, I want to travel and explore new places even more. This is still pretty hard when dealing with Covid-19, but even if we can’t go far, exploring is still possible. This weekend, I went to Gifu and walked around Inaba Shrine for the 1st time. Some friends and I went at the perfect time, right when the sun was starting to set. The view was great and the whole area was so peaceful! I wanted to stay there for hours!
I sent this picture back home so my family and friends could enjoy the beauty of this area too! I hope this will get them excited to visit when things get better. Hope you all are staying safe and enjoying your holiday weekend!
