In Texas, we have many different festivals. One of the more interesting festival is the Barbacoa and Big Red festival. The Barbacoa and Big Red festival is held on May 19^th in San Antonio, Texas. This festival is centered around eating  Barbacoa tacos and drinking a Texas native soft drink: Big Red. Barbacoa is meat that is made from cow cheek (or sometimes tongue) and although  this may sound unappealing to some in Texas it is a delicacy. So, if you’re ever in Texas around this time be sure to stop by San Antonio and enjoy the festival!

３月の終わり、大垣本部校でもお別れの場面がたくさん見られました。

アメリカに帰ってしまう外国人先生といつも以上にハイタッチをして別れを惜しむ子。

ずーっと笑顔だったのに、レッスンが終わってから泣いてしまった子。

保育園のときから来ていた大垣本部校からスイトテラス校へ移る新高校１年生の子たち。

寂しい気持ちもありますが、４月から始まる新しい生活をとにかく楽しんでほしいです！

英語が結んだご縁なら、英語を続けていたらきっとモリー先生やカイル先生、

マイケル先生やエミリー先生、他にもたくさん出会った先生たちやお友達と会えるはず。

昨年度はなかなか聞けなかった子も今年度気持ち新たにコツコツリスニングを

聞いてみてください！

Since arriving to Japan, I have been over the moon and back and have managed to learn all the in’s and out’s of Ogaki. I can’t wait to discover some more of Gifu/Nagoya during my time here! So far, my favorite thing to be do is eat all the ramen I can find! Ramen here is so incredibly filling and delicious, I think just about any ramen shop is good! Last week, I went to Ōsu in Nagoya and found this shop called “Fujiyama Go-Go5” and with absolute certainty, I can say this is the best ramen I have ever had…..so far.
