Hey y’all!

  Over the two week winter break I once again made my way back home to Texas. However, this holiday season my family started a new tradition. In years past, Christmas was always spent at my house. Family from both sides would head on over to exchange presents, eat prime rib and a large assortment of delicious desserts. Well, as the years go by, things change, children grow up and move away. In March of 2019 my brother took a job in Columbus, Ohio to sell Porsche’s. That meant we were spending Christmas in Ohio… Overall, the change was unusual but we all had a wonderful time! We went to the zoo, did a lot of shopping and of course ate a tonne of amazing food! In fact, the whole ordeal was so great that we already planned the same trip for 2020! 

  I hope all of y’all had a wonderful Christmas and are glad to be back at school!

There is no time like the present. 思い立ったが吉日、善は急げ。

行きたい場所、会いたい人、したいこと、食べたいもの← …

後回しにせず、すぐにアクションをおこす行動力を心がけたいと思います。

まずは３月の高校入試に向けて、みなさんと一緒に頑張ります！

ハローズでは来週、保護者の皆様との懇談会を予定しております。

子どもたちの普段のレッスンの様子やご家庭での学習状況、今後の目標設定

などいろいろお話させていただく年３回の懇談会ですが、この時期の懇談会は来年度のクラスの

ご説明などもさせていただきます。

In winter, I like eating warm street food whenever I go to a market or visit a temple. I like anything that comes on a stick, or things that have warm sauce or soup like oden or ddeukbokki. During the New Year holidays, I went to Tanigumi Temple with friends. There is a really long market street on the way, so we had fried squid, potatoes and taiyaki!

I really like red bean and pastry so I love taiyaki. It’s always warm and sweet, so it is perfect for cold days. I hope I can enjoy eating more street food this winter.
