Hey y’all!

  I hope your October is going spooktacular! Now that the Halloween party is over, it’s time to start thinking about Halloween day! Finding the perfect Halloween costume is crucial, so I’m trying to come up will all kinds of ways to make an original costume. I’ve gone to Don Q, searched the internet, and even asked friends and family, but I still just don’t know what I should wear. Maybe you guys can give me some ideas in class! 

  Anyways… I guess we’ll have to find out on Halloween day! See y’all in class! 

いつも食べているお菓子。

味は変わらないはずなのに、この時期は特にハロウィンパッケージに模様替えしており、

毎年ついつい、いろんなお菓子に手を伸ばしてしまいます  (´-□-)=３

ハローズのハロウィンパーティー用にキャンディの買い出しを担当したのですが、

かわいい見た目のキャンディたちにウキウキしました♪♫♪

買いすぎないように…と思っていたはずなのに、お店を出るときに

「…ハッ！ (⦿＿⦿)！」となるのが本当に不思議です←

There are many reasons to love the fall season.From pumpkin spice lattes, to the cool weather autumn brings in.My reason for loving fall would have to be due to Halloween! Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays growing up and it still is. Being able to dress as you favorite superhero or monster, and receive tons of candy for free! What could be better than this!? When I was a kid, my parents would often dress my siblings and men in similar themed costumes. door to door and seeing which neighborhood had the best candies was some of the fondest memories I had growing up. Chanting ““ Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! ”while we walked down the street from house to house felt like an anthem to us.As I grew up, Halloween seemed to change for me.It went from eating candy,to just being with my friends and having a good time.Some years we would see who had the best costume.Halloween is also a good time to show your creative side by creating your own costume with your own personal touch.I’ve never been much of any arts & crafts person so I haven’t tried to create my own costume… yet.There is a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy during the Halloween season.Happy Halloween!

10月の始めに小学生以下の生徒を対象としたハロウィンパーティーを行いました！

毎回どんなコスチュームを着ようか悩んでしまいますが、

生徒のみなさんの楽しそうな表情が見れるのでいつも張り切ってしまいます。

今年は「おじいさん」になってみました。

実は今週２５日金曜日～来週３１日木曜日まで、ハローズの先生たちは

それぞれの校舎で仮装をしてレッスンを行います。

ぜひ、できるだけたくさんの先生たちを探してみてください！

The Halloween Party was a lot of fun, and I loved seeing students in their costumes. I hope that everyone who came enjoyed the activities (especially trick-or-treating!).

The younger students made something called “exquisite corpses.” The name sounds strange and scary but it’s a term to describe several people making one piece of art together. One person will make a head, one person will make an upper body and one person will make a lower body. I used to practice this a lot with my friends. It’s fun to make up stories for the monsters/demons/animals/people/aliens you create! The students’ monsters look pretty wild but they are also charming. I like their bright colors and strange proportions — some have big heads, some have heads that don’t touch their bodies, and one has a head with floating parts!
