先日福岡に行ってきました。太宰府天満宮も初めて訪れて、同じ日本なのに海外に来たような気がしました。また、お店の行列に並んで食事をすることはほぼないのですが、並んだ価値はありました。おいしく博多ラーメンを食べました。どこもとても活気があっていい町だなと思いました。普段見ないような光景や、そこに住む人と会話をすることがとても新鮮でいいなあと思いました。

It was a rainy day. At about 5pm, I was cooking dinner when  I suddenly heard a loud cawing outside my door. I went out to check it and I saw this young crow just sitting on my balcony. didn’t budge. Looking at it’s size, I realized that it’s still young. The ones I see near the garbage dump are definitely larger than this one. It didn’t want to eat or drink so I thought maybe it was just tired from learning how to fly under the heavy rain .I kept checking on it every few hours.It spent the whole night on my balcony.It only left around 6am It was a little scary but also mesmerizing to see this creature up close. I hope it’s doing okay out there.

There are many Starbucks across the world. Surprisingly, it seems that Japan has cooler ones than its home country, the US. Japan loves to take the look of old and slightly update it with a splash of modern. Here is the Starbucks on Dazaifu street in Fukuoka. What cool Starbucks have you been to?

特に用事がなくても、癒しを求めて本屋さんに行くことがよくあります。好きなのは、絵本からマンガ、雑誌、専門書などはもちろん筆記用具やスタンプ、ファイルなどの雑貨が多いお店です。

先日もフラッと立ち寄った本屋さんで、自分としては珍しく小説や英語の資格試験以外の本を買いました。表紙も可愛くて、スヌーピーも可愛くて、「心まで軽く」してくれるならゲットしないわけにはいきませんでした(^^)/

暗記しているほど好きなフレーズもこんなのもあったなぁという懐かしいフレーズも。その中のスヌーピーとウッドストック（スヌーピーと仲良しの小さな黄色の鳥）のやりとりを１つご紹介します！
